our story

If you haven’t heard our story of how Line Creek Brewing came to fruition, there’s no better way to experience it than with Rutledge Wood, a Peachtree City local, a car fanatic, and a lover of Line Creek.

Line Creek was founded in Peachtree City, GA from hometown folks determined to share quality craft beer and honor community. Inspired by the creek in our own backyard, every pour celebrates the friends and family that brought Line Creek to life, so grab a pint and join us! Cheers!

πŸ“£ CALL TO ACTION πŸ“£

The craft brewing industry has seen significant growth over the past several years, thanks in part to some smart policy changes by lawmakers at the state Capitol. Unfortunately, Georgia still remains one of the most restrictive states to open and operate a small brewery.

With the challenges of rising costs of goods, materials, and services, supply chain challenges, market shifts and other economic pressures over the past few years, small breweries lack the flexibility they need to thrive, and in some cases, survive. The Fair and Open Access to Market Act (F.O.A.M. Act) is essential for a small brewery to meet consumer and community demand for their products.

The F.O.A.M. act would:
1. Allow for limited self distribution for small brewers
2. Reform outdated beer franchise laws in Georgia
3. Remove the daily to-go limit of 288 oz. per person (meaning you could buy more than a case of beer from our taprooms!)
4. Allow for direct charitable contributions of beer

We need your support to make this act a reality! Head to the link in our bio or go to https://p2a.co/chN3ry8 to sign the petition and help bring change to the GA beer industry!
Introducing our first barrel-aged beer release… πŸ₯β€¦ Barrel-Aged Adjudicator Dopplebock! 🍻πŸ₯³

For our first barrel release, we took one of our favorite dark strong lagers, Adjudicator, and aged it in a special Cabernet barrel which was most recently filled with Weller bourbon. The malty pumpernickel bread and treacle of the base beer blend with notes of dry red wine, lingering oak, and little bit of bourbon bite for a multifaceted drinking experience which we hope you’ll savor with us!

11.5% ABV. Draft only at The Reserve. Crowlers are available.
Last night, we attended the @fayetteville_ga city council meeting to join Michelle Holmes of @mainstreetfayettevillega, Mayor Ed Johnson, the council, and @scoopsfayetteville in presenting the donation checks to @fayettehumane, @cocos_cupboard_inc, and @royalanimalrefuge from the city’s dog-friendly music festival, WoofStock, back at the end of September. We are happy to have contributed $975 from proceeds of Doggie Drool, a Peach Blueberry Sour, brewed especially for the event. 🐢🍻 Cheers to this amazing cause and these great organizations!
In case you missed it, we hosted our first ever wrestling show at Line Creek last Friday! @actionwrestling1 put on an amazing event and we are looking forward to the next one! Stay tuned! πŸ₯³πŸ₯Š
